Elegantly
rumpled, romantic, adventurous, yet unabashedly feminine -- designer
Nancy Traugott's designs meet at the intersection of art and fashion.
The attention
to detail is sly and witty, the results are stunning - a diaphanous
hem is shot through with a single silver filament; a spray of rare
cotton bobbinet peeks out from an unfinished seam; an imaginative
tuck is set in an unexpected place to create a graceful line and
flattering definition.
Produced
in small lots by artisanal seamstresses, each piece is then hand-dyed.
Interpreted in opulent silks and linens, yet absolutely practical
- every garment is machine washable.
